As graduation gets closer I become more nervous but also excited. I am nervous because a chapter in my life will be coming into an end but excited because I will be entering a new chapter as well. Even though I don't know what my life will become after high school I do have a plan and hope it turns out good but also I am excited to see how it turns out. Being in my last semester of high school amazes me because my 4 years of high school has flown by way too fast. Although it still hasn't hit me that we only have 3 months left of school, I become more nervous each day. Explaining these feeling about graduation getting closer is hard because I don't quite know what I’m feeling all I can say is I do have mixed emotions.
I have applied to two community colleges Porterville College and College of the Sequoias. I have decided to attend Porterville College for 2 years and then transfer to a 4 year university to receive my bachelors in nursing or teaching. I have filled out job applications because I don't want to graduate and still rely on my parents or even financial aid for everything. Although it upsets me I won't be attending a 4 year straight out of high school I am gald I would be the first out of my family to attend a college. Knowing I only have 3 more months to prepare for post graduation is scary because 4 years went by fast too think how fast these 3 months would go by is crazy. I feel like I am not ready for after graduation I hope to feel ready by June.
Graduation and Grad Nite are the moments I am looking forward to. Life after high school is something I am looking forward too as well. The whole college experience is exciting but nerve racking at the time. Starting college will be different from starting high school these past 4 years everything will be a whole new experience which I am nervous about but also looking forward. One of the big things I am looking forward too is starting new memories and experiencing new things and grow more as an individual.
Looking back into my senior year I would be most grateful for is having the help I needed from the Learning Facilitators. Most happy moments are my first and last everything during high school. Although they are also sad moments because it's my last year in high school. I haven't really had any more happy moments during my senior year since it still hasn't come to an end. I do know Graduation and Grad Nite would be my most happy moments during my last year.
